GUIPURE LACE

In the backroom of a designer’s tiny Manhattan studio, we found this emerald-green Guipure lace, peeking out from a box like a jewel waiting to be held. Leftover from a heritage brand based in New York, we surmise this delicate, impossibly intricate lace originates fro a classic Swiss mill (perhaps Foster).

Green Yarn

Every now and then, a spool catches our eye. There were only a dozen-or-so yards of this chunky, Kelly-green yarn—and our team had to have them all. Immediately, we took them to our favorite village seamstress, Maggie, who spun these butter-soft, oversized threads into cozy, custom knits of one kind and another.

CORAL FLORAL

Fated to be ours, this graphic floral print popped into the corner of our founder’s eye, just as she was making her way out of Maison Bucol. Too stunning to leave behind, she took the fabric home, unsure of the exact garment it would become. Sumptuous and soft yet structured in the hand, this 100% cotton has proven to be a dream fabric with serious endurance.
